What are your products for?

Our Tixylix syrups help to soothe and relieve the symptoms of children's dry and tickly coughs.

At what age can my child take Tixylix?

Tixylix Baby Syrup, Tixylix Toddler Syrup, and Tixylix Blackcurrant Syrup are suitable for children aged 3 months to 5 years. 

How much Tixylix can I give my child?

Doses may be given 3 to 4 times daily by mouth as required. Allow 3 to 4 hours between doses.
- Do not give to children under 3 months
- Dosage size for children aged 3 months to 1 year: One 5ml spoonful
- Dosage size for children 1 year to 5 years: Two 5ml spoonfuls

How should I store Tixylix?

Store out of children's reach. Do not store above 25°C.

What are the ingredients?

The active ingredient is glycerol. Each 5ml spoonful of syrup contains 0.75ml. of glycerol. Also contains: liquid maltitol. Read the enclosed patient information leaflet for the full list of ingredients, or visit the dedicated product pages.

Does Tixylix contain paracetamol?

No.

Can Tixylix be taken alongside other medication?

Although there are no known interactions between Tixylix and other medicines, we recommend consulting with your GP before administristing Tixylix.

Does Tixylix cause drowsiness?

Like all medicines, Tixylix syrups can cause side effects. Please consult your GP if your child is experiencing drowsiness.

Is Tixylix suitable for babies?

Tixylix can be given if your child is between the ages of 3 months and 5 years
